Longest Sudden Death & Big Axe Duels

The longest overtime tiebreakers and sudden death duels across all cached seasonal matches and tournaments.

Dataset Coverage & Cache Completeness Note

Cache-dependent coverage: This leaderboard is generated from all match throw sheets currently stored in the local AxeProgress cache. If a thrower, season, or tournament has not yet been loaded or synced into AxeProgress, their sudden death matches will not appear here until their profile or league is viewed.

Week 8 playoffs notice: In addition, seasonal Week 8 league playoffs only report aggregate summary statistics on AxeScores (without throw-by-throw sheets), so sudden death throws from Week 8 league playoffs cannot be indexed into throw counts until individual playoff sheets are made available upstream.

Scoring Nomenclature & Lore

Terminology & Milestones

Understanding the traditional scoring terminology used throughout AxeProgress.

Natural Scores

Scores achieved with pure bullseyes (5 points each) without calling clutch:

  • Natural 25: 5 bullseyes in a regulation round (5 × 5 = 25).
  • Natural 75: 15 consecutive bullseyes across all 3 rounds (25 × 3 = 75).
  • Standard Clean Round: A 25-point round with zero clutch attempts.
Supernatural Scores

Scores that exceed the standard regulation ceiling by utilizing 7-point clutch targets:

  • Supernatural 27: 4 bullseyes plus 1 called clutch on throw 5 (20 + 7 = 27).
  • The 81 Club: Hitting 4 bullseyes + 1 clutch across all 3 rounds (27 × 3 = 81).
  • Supernatural Match (76–80): All bullseyes with 1 or 2 clutches thrown.
Unnatural Scores

Achieving a benchmark score by recovering from dropped points with a clutch:

  • Unnatural 25: Dropping points on a regulation throw (e.g. hitting a 3 instead of a bullseye), but hitting a 7-point clutch on throw 5 to salvage a 25-point round (5+5+5+3+7 = 25).
  • Unnatural 75: Recovering regulation drops with clutch hits across the match to reach 75.
